Employer of Record, PEO, global payroll, immigration and global mobility, corporate and
business, and global expansion services to organizations and their people across multiple regions.
This Privacy Statement explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information
when you visit www.nnamiscointernational.com
(the “Website”), contact us, or engage with us as
a prospective or existing client. We take privacy seriously, and we aim to handle personal
information in line with applicable data protection laws, including the Nigeria Data Protection
Act 2023 and, where it applies to you, the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation
(GDPR).
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide to us. When you fill in a contact or enquiry form, email us, call us, or
request a consultation, we may collect your name, job title, company name, email address, phone
number, country, and any details you include in your message about your business or workforce
needs.
Information collected automatically. When you browse the Website, we may collect technical
data such as your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, pages viewed, time
spent on pages, referring website, and general location (such as country or city).
Cookies and similar technologies. We use cookies to make the Website function, understand
how it is used, and improve your experience. See Section 6 below.
Information processed in the course of our services. When a client engages us for services
such as payroll, EOR, PEO, or immigration support, we process personal information about the
client’s employees and their dependants (for example, identification details, employment terms,
compensation, tax and social security information, and immigration documents). This processing
is governed by our service agreement with the client and is covered in Section 9.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use personal information to:
∙Respond to your enquiries and provide the information or consultations you request
∙Provide, administer, and improve our services
∙Communicate with you about our services, updates, and relevant insights (where
permitted, and with an option to opt out)
∙Maintain the security and proper functioning of the Website
∙Analyze Website usage to improve content and performance
∙Comply with legal, regulatory, and tax obligations
∙Establish, exercise, or defend legal claims
3. Legal Bases for Processing
Where data protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on one or more of the following:
∙Consent — for example, when you subscribe to updates or accept non-essential cookies
∙Contract — where processing is needed to enter into or perform an agreement with you
or your organization
∙Legitimate interests — such as operating and securing the Website, responding to
business enquiries, and improving our services, provided these interests are not
overridden by your rights
∙Legal obligation — where we must process information to comply with applicable law
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share it with:
∙Service providers who support our operations, such as hosting, IT, analytics,
communications, payroll, banking, and professional advisory providers, who are bound to
protect it and use it only for our purposes
∙In-country partners and authorities where required to deliver our services, for example
tax authorities, social security bodies, immigration authorities, benefits providers, and
insurers
∙Professional advisers such as lawyers, auditors, and insurers
∙Corporate transaction parties in connection with a merger, acquisition, or restructuring,
subject to appropriate confidentiality protections
∙Authorities and other parties where we are required to do so by law, court order, or to
protect our rights, safety, or property
5. International Transfers
Because we support clients and employees across several regions, personal information may be
transferred to and processed in countries other than the one in which it was collected, including
countries whose data protection laws differ from yours. Where we do this, we take steps to
ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as contractual protections, and we transfer data
only as permitted by applicable law.
6. Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We may use:
∙Essential cookies — necessary for the Website to function
∙Analytics cookies — to understand how visitors use the Website
∙Preference cookies — to remember your settings
You can manage or disable cookies through your browser settings, and where required by law we
will ask for your consent before using non-essential cookies. Disabling some cookies may affect
how the Website works.
7. Data Retention
We keep personal information only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this
Statement, including to meet legal, accounting, and reporting requirements, resolve disputes, and
enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.
Retention periods for employee data processed on behalf of clients are determined by our client
agreements and applicable local law.
8. Data Security
We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal information against
unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration, including access controls and secure systems. No
method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute
security, but we work to protect your information and will notify affected parties and authorities
of a data breach where the law requires.
9. Our Role When Providing Services to Clients
For information collected through the Website and our own business relationships, Nnamisco
acts as a data controller. When we process employee or dependant information on behalf of a
client as part of our EOR, PEO, payroll, immigration, or related services, our role may be that of
a data processor or a joint or independent controller, depending on the service and the
applicable law. In those cases, the client’s agreement with us sets out the details of that
processing. If you are an employee of one of our clients and wish to exercise your rights, you
may contact us, and we will work with your employer as appropriate.
10. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
∙Access the personal information we hold about you
∙Correct inaccurate or incomplete information
∙Delete your information in certain circumstances
∙Restrict or object to certain processing, including direct marketing
∙Data portability — receive your information in a structured, commonly used format
∙Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent
∙Lodge a complaint with a data protection authority, such as the Nigeria Data Protection
Commission, or the supervisory authority in your country
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 14. We may need to verify
your identity before responding, and we will respond within the timeframe required by
applicable law.
11. Children’s Privacy
Our Website and services are intended for businesses and working adults. We do not knowingly
collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal
information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
12. Third-Party Links
The Website may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy
practices or content of those sites, and we encourage you to read their privacy policies.
13. Changes to This Statement
We may update this Privacy Statement from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated
version on this page and revise the “Last updated” date. We encourage you to review it
periodically.
